Ever since they began 1926, the Wrights Food Group has been renowned for quality wholesome food.
Following the acquisition of a local bakery, the family business, known for their exceptional pies, expanded their portfolio to include fresh baked bread, presenting us with a tasty branding opportunity.
Given the heritage of the family business and traditional nature of the recipe, we knew that the brand had to have a traditional, artisan feel but first it needed a name.
"Sheaf Street" works perfectly. This not only references the wheat sheaf synonymous with baking but is also the name of where it all began, the family home of founders John (Jack) Wright and his wife Elizabeth in Stoke-on-Trent.
Sitting above a vintage map of the area, our solution paid tribute to the origins of the Wrights business in both name and appearance.
In addition to the logo development of the Sheaf Street brand we produced the packaging for the product, point of sale material, website, livery and a complete suite of photography. The first taste as they say, is always with the eye and this has proven to be the winning recipe here with the Sheaf Street product now flying off the shelves in all Wrights stores and independent retailers nationwide.
